What to check, in order
- Close the lid fully
Make sure it's completely closed, then start the cycle again.
- Check the washer is level
If it isn't, adjust the levelling legs.
When to call an engineer
If the lid doesn't lock after you start a cycle, Frigidaire says the lid lock or the circuit board may have failed. Within 30 days of installation, contact the installer; after that, schedule service.
