Check these first, whatever the brand
- Reset the power
Switch off at the wall or breaker for a few minutes and start a new programme.
- Run the hot tap first
If your dishwasher takes hot water, run the kitchen tap until it's hot before you start a programme.
- Check the water heater setting
If the dishwasher takes hot water and the code says it's too cold, turn the water heater up to the minimum your manual gives.
When it's time for an engineer
If it still won't heat, the heater, its temperature sensor or the circulation pump needs testing. That's a job for an engineer.

Why is my dishwasher not heating the water?
The heating element or its sensor may have failed. On dishwashers that take hot water, the water coming in may simply not be hot enough.
