Dryer codes are mostly about heat and airflow. A blocked vent is the one to take seriously, because it's a fire risk.

Unbranded and less common machines use shorter generic codes. These are their most common meanings.

A dirty or failed thermistor, the sensor that tells the dryer how hot the air is.

The dryer can't move enough air through itself, so clothes take much longer to dry and the machine flags it.
