Check these first, whatever the brand
- Open the supply valve
It's usually under the sink. It's often left part-closed after plumbing work or a new installation.
- Check the hose
Pull the dishwasher out a little if you can and check the supply hose isn't kinked or squashed.
- Frozen?
In a cold space the hose or valve can freeze. Let the area warm up, or follow your brand page's instructions for thawing it safely.
- Clean the inlet filter
With the water off, clean the small mesh filter in the supply connection. On many dishwashers it's where the hose screws onto the tap. If yours is at the valve behind the lower panel, switch off the power first.
- Close the door properly
Most dishwashers won't fill until the door is latched.
When it's time for an engineer
If the supply is on, the hose is clear and it still won't fill, the water inlet valve has probably failed.

Only once the checks point to a part. Match it to your model number: it's on a label on the edge of the door or the side of the tub.
