What to check, in order
- New disposer? Check the knockout plug
If the drain hose goes into a food waste disposer, the knockout plug inside the disposer inlet must have been removed.
- Check the drain hose
It mustn't be blocked, pinched or restricted anywhere along its length.
- Check the hose height
The drain hose must reach at least 32 in (81 cm) above the floor.
- Clean the filters
Clear any food soil from the glass trap or filters, and from the sump area under them.
- Reset it
Press and hold Cancel, turn the power off at the breaker, or unplug the dishwasher for 3 minutes. Then run it again.
When to call an engineer
If it still won't drain with the hose and filters clear, contact Frigidaire for service.
Good to know
- Frigidaire's manual groups i20 with i40 and iF0: clogged filters or a restricted drain line.
- Some Frigidaire dishwashers show E20 for the same fault. Frigidaire's 2023 use & care guide gives it the same meaning.
