What to check, in order
- Spread the clothes out
If the clothes pile up on one side during the spin, the washer stops. It tries to correct this by itself three times; if that doesn't work, rearrange the load by hand.
- Check it stands firmly
The washer should rest firmly on the floor. Adjust the levelling legs if it doesn't.
- New washer? Remove the shipping foam
The foam shipping support may not have been taken out when it was installed. Your installation instructions show how to remove it.
When to call an engineer
Frigidaire says this is often an installation problem, so contact the installer if it was installed in the last 30 days. After that, schedule service if it keeps happening with balanced loads.
