What to check, in order
- Reset it
Press Cancel, or turn the power off at the breaker for 5 minutes.
- Start it again
Frigidaire says this should clear the code so the dishwasher can be restarted.
When to call an engineer
If the code comes back, Frigidaire says to contact its Customer Care Center.
A repair visit will usually check the motor, its speed sensor and the electronics that drive it.
Before you book
- Note the model and serial number. They're on a label on the edge of the door or the side of the tub.
- Write down the exact code, and what the appliance was doing when it appeared.
- Check whether it's still under warranty. If it is, the repair may cost you nothing.
Good to know
- Some Frigidaire dishwashers show E50 for the same fault. Frigidaire's 2023 use & care guide gives it the same meaning.
