Frigidaire error codes
Frigidaire is an Electrolux brand sold in the US and Canada. Its top-load washers show short codes from E1 to E5, and its dishwashers show codes that start with a small i, such as i20, which is easy to misread as 120. The Electrolux, AEG & Zanussi page covers European machines: their washer codes, such as E10 and E20, look similar but come from a different system.

Washing machines 7 codes
E1 Slow fill or no water
Water isn't getting into the washer, or it's taking too long to fill.
E2 Slow draining or not draining
Water is taking too long to drain, or isn't draining properly.
E3 Lid open or lid lock failed
The lid is open, or the lid lock has failed.
E4 Out of balance during the spin
The load went out of balance while spinning, so the washer stopped.
E5 Washer not level
The washer isn't standing level.
CL Lid opened with the control lock on
The lid was open for more than 20 seconds while the control lock was on.
F2 Too many suds
There's too much detergent, or the wrong type.
Dishwashers 9 codes
i10 Low fill: not enough water
The dishwasher has detected a low fill: not enough water came in.
i20 Not draining properly
The dishwasher didn't drain completely.
i30 Leak in the bottom pan
Water has leaked or overflowed into the bottom pan of the dishwasher.
i40 Clogged filter or sump
Food soil has built up in the filters or the sump.
i50 Drain or wash motor fault
The dishwasher has found a problem with its drain motor or its wash motor.
i60 Water heating fault
The dishwasher has found a problem with the system that heats the water.
iC0 Electronic control fault
The dishwasher has found a problem with its electronic control system.
PF Power went off during a cycle
The power went off while the dishwasher was running.
CL Door open
The door isn't fully closed and latched, so the cycle won't start.
No codes of that type for this brand.
Good to know
- Some Frigidaire dishwashers show the same codes with an E instead of an i: E10 for i10, E20 for i20 and so on, up to EC0 for iC0. Frigidaire's own manuals give both versions the same meaning, and both work in the search.
- For most of the washer codes, Frigidaire says to contact the installer first if the washer was installed in the last 30 days. For the dishwasher's i and E codes, Frigidaire's manuals say that if pressing Cancel, or turning the power off at the breaker for 5 minutes, doesn't clear the code, contact its Customer Care Center.
