Electrolux, AEG & Zanussi error codes
Electrolux, AEG and Zanussi washing machines use the same codes; all three brands publish the same support articles. Machines without a display flash a light or beep instead: 1 flash for E10, 2 for E20, 3 for E30 and 4 for E40.

Washing machines 10 codes
E10 Water supply problem
The machine isn't filling, or is filling too slowly.
E20 Not draining
The machine can't drain in the expected time.
E30 Water level problem
The machine can't measure or monitor the water level properly.
E40 Door not closed
The door (or lid) isn't properly closed, or the machine can't detect that it is.
E50 Motor fault
The motor has failed or isn't being detected.
E60 Heating problem
The machine can't heat the water properly, and a faulty heating element is a common cause.
E70 Temperature sensor fault
The NTC temperature sensor has stopped working or is damaged.
E90 Electronic control problem
A communication or configuration problem in the electronic controls; a power cut can trigger it.
EF0 Leak, foam or unbalanced load warning
A general warning.
EH0 Power supply problem
The mains supply is out of range.

- Many codes come in families: E20 covers E21 to E24, E60 any E6x code, E70 any E7x code, and E90 the codes up to E94.
