Air fryer error codes
Air fryer codes are either quick fixes, like cleaning or reseating the basket, or a sign it's time for a new fryer. Repairs rarely make sense.

E1 Temperature sensor fault
A temperature sensor fault.

E2 Temperature sensor short circuit
The temperature sensor has short-circuited.

E3 Fan motor struggling
The fan motor is struggling, usually because of debris caught around the fan, or worn bearings after heavy use.

E4 Overheated and cut out
The over-temperature cut-out has tripped: the fryer got hotter than it's allowed to, and shut itself down to stay safe.

E5 Basket not detected
The basket or drawer isn't being detected, so the fryer won't run.
