Check these first, whatever the brand
- Switch off and turn off the water
Switch off at the wall or the breaker, and close the supply valve under the sink.
- Look for the obvious
A loose supply hose, a displaced door seal, or a dishwasher that isn't level can all let water out.
- Check the detergent
Washing-up liquid, or too much detergent, makes foam that pushes water past the door seal. Use dishwasher detergent only.
- Let the base dry
Once you've found and fixed the cause, the float or sensor needs time to dry out before the code clears. Your brand page gives the maker's method.
When it's time for an engineer
If you can't find the leak, or the code comes back, have it checked. Worn pump seals, a cracked hose inside the machine or a failed valve are jobs for an engineer.
