iRobot Roomba error codes
Roomba robot vacuums speak their errors, show them in the iRobot HOME app, or both: Error 1, Error 2 and so on. The numbers are shared across the range, but what they point at can differ by series. On the i and j series, for example, Error 1 is the left wheel, while the 600 and 900 series use it for either wheel. Each page notes the differences. Charging errors are numbered separately.

Good to know
- Many fixes start with a reboot, and how you do it depends on the series. iRobot's guide: i and s series, hold the power button for 20 seconds off the dock. j series and Combo 10 Max, 9 seconds. 800 and 900 series, about 10 seconds. e series, hold HOME and SPOT for about 10 seconds. 600 series without a green dot under the bin, hold HOME and SPOT for 10 seconds.
- If you contact iRobot Customer Care, have the robot charged, its serial number and, for a warranty claim, proof of purchase from an authorised retailer.
