What to check, in order
- Clean the sensor bars
They're the curved metal bars inside the dryer, just below the lint filter. Wipe them with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild soap.
- Let them dry
Allow the sensors to dry fully before you run another cycle.
When to call an engineer
If HS keeps appearing after a clean, LG says the dryer needs service.
Good to know
- LG recommends cleaning the humidity sensor regularly anyway: a dirty sensor can leave clothes over-dried or still damp.
