What to do
- Reset it
Unplug the dryer or switch off its breaker. While the power is off, press and hold Start/Pause for 5 seconds. Then restore the power and try another cycle.
When to call an engineer
If the code comes back after the reset, LG says the dryer needs service.
A repair visit will usually check the sensor's reading with a meter, then its wiring.
Before you book
- Note the model and serial number. They're on a label inside the door, around the door frame or on the back.
- Write down the exact code, and what the appliance was doing when it appeared.
- Check whether it's still under warranty. If it is, the repair may cost you nothing.
