What to check, in order
- Push the lint filter all the way in
Open the door, check the filter is fully in place and that no clothing is caught in the door.
- Reset it
Unplug the dryer or switch off its breaker, wait 5 seconds, then restore the power. Close the door firmly, choose a cycle and press Start.
- Brand new dryer?
Check the door for visible damage, such as a bent door. If you find any, contact the dealer.
When to call an engineer
If the code comes back after the reset, LG says the dryer needs service.
