It can also show up during steam cycles, because the duct cools down too quickly.
What to check, in order
- Clean the lint filter
Remove the lint between loads. Now and then, wash the filter in warm water with a soft brush, and let it dry before you put it back.
- Check the outside vent
Find where the exhaust leaves the house. The flaps should open all the way and close again: lint, snow or frost can jam them. Clear any lint you can see.
- Warm it up
Run the dryer empty on a different cycle for a few minutes. Or switch on, select Steam Fresh, press More Time until Big (or Bulky) shows, then press Start.
When to call an engineer
If it keeps coming back, LG says the dryer needs service.
