What to check, in order
- Open the tap fully
Then do a bucket test: about 10 litres should come out in about a minute.
- Clean both filters
Turn the water off. Clean the filter at the hose connection and the one in the inlet valve on the back of the machine.
- Straighten the hoses
Both the inlet hose and the drain hose.
- Check the drain hose
No more than 10 cm of it into the waste pipe, with the drain between 60 and 100 cm high.
- Reset
Unplug for at least 30 seconds, then try again.
When to call an engineer
If no water goes in at all, or it keeps happening: the valve, the pump or a sensor may be at fault.
Parts people end up buying
Only if the checks above point to a part. Match it to your model number first: it's on a label inside the door, around the door frame or on the back.
