What to check, in order
- Open the tap fully
And check the hose isn't kinked.
- Do a bucket test
Turn the tap off and unscrew the hose. Hold a bucket under the tap and open it fully for one minute: you should get about 10 litres (2.5 gallons). If you get less, it's a plumbing problem: call a plumber.
- Clean the inlet filter
With the tap off and the hose undone, clean the filter at the hose connection with a small brush. On hoses without AquaStop, the filter at the machine end can be pulled out with pliers.
When to call an engineer
If it keeps happening with good flow and clean filters.
