What to check, in order
- Switch off and unplug
Then take the filter out of the bottom of the tub.
- Scoop out standing water
A sponge or a cup does the job.
- Lever off the pump cover
Bosch suggests using a spoon to lever the cover off.
- Clear the pump
Take out whatever is jamming it: typically glass, fruit stones or labels. Careful, debris can be sharp.
- Refit the cover
Put it back firmly, then refit the filter.
When to call an engineer
If it keeps happening, the pump itself may have failed.
