  • Turn the tap off before you undo any hose or filter.
  • Unplug it before you touch anything inside.

What to check, in order

  1. Reset

    Unplug the washer for 60 seconds, plug it back in and restart.

  2. Watch the detergent drawer

    LG suggests checking whether water is coming in through the dispenser. If water keeps flowing in while the washer is off, turn the tap off and book a repair.

  3. Top-loader?

    If it keeps overfilling, LG says the water level sensor may be at fault.
