Instant's safety rules say not to use the cooker after it malfunctions. Unplug it.
- Contact Instant Brands Customer Care
That's the only fix the manuals give for this code. Have the model name and the code to hand.
- Check the warranty
In the US, Instant Pot multicookers have a one-year limited warranty from the purchase or delivery date, whichever is later. Instant decides whether to repair or replace the cooker.
When it isn't worth fixing
Straight away. A sensor fault is a job for Instant Brands Customer Care.
Before you replace it
- Check whether it's still under warranty. The maker or the shop may replace it for free.
- Note the model number (it's on a label on the back or the underside of the base) so you can compare like with like.
